Carlo Bella is please to participate in Frieze Masters 2026 in colloboration with Colnaghi. The presentation is inspired by the history of the collector’s interior. Bringing together paintings, drawings and sculpture from classical antiquity to the twentieth century, the display considers a tradition of collecting in which works were understood through their relationships with objects of other periods and origins.
Among the works featured are a Bena Lulua Figure, formerly in the Goldschmidt Collection; a Senufo Janiform Rhythm Pounder from the Collection of Baronn Freddy Rolin; and a Kota Reliquary Figure exhibited in 1957 at the University Museum, University of Pennsylvania.
